Emily was sick this weekend....throwing up followed by a UTI that took almost a full day to diagnose. Emily has had frequent UTI's and I'm so tired of worrying about them for her. I had a UTI when pregnant with Hannah and it HURT so I can't imagine how that feels to a 2 and a half year old. I'm getting to the point where I want the doctor to refer us to surgery to fix the problem that is causing the UTI's (an adhesion that prevents the urine from properly exiting). It's not that I "want" Emily to have surgery, I just want her to stop having to hurt! I wonder too if the recurring UTI's is what is preventing her from wanting to potty train???
She is feeling better today after her meds and lots and lots of TLC from mommy and daddy and a special visit from grandma and granddad last night! Oh, and a new DVD!
